Common Fibers specializes in the resin infusion (VARTM) composite manufacturing method. Instead of performing wet layups that result in heavy parts with weave distortion, CF infuses its parts to maintain an ideal 60/40 fiber to resin ratio and a uniform weave. The process is highly repeatable and can produce parts very comparable to those made in-autoclave at a fraction of the cost.
The process requires a fiberglass or metal mold and is quoted on a per part basis. Reach out to learn more.
