Carbon fiber is a naturally porous material. Only through high pressure molding in a press or autoclave can you ensure a (nearly) perfect surface. In all other manufacturing scenarios, it is important to build clear base layers to fill all pinholes. CF has perfected the technique of making UV stable, high gloss carbon fiber parts.
Whether you are looking for new carbon fiber parts, refinishing old parts, or a professional finish on your DIY project, CF will provide the same level of quality. In addition to using a hard clear primer followed by an automotive clear coat, we bake all of our parts at 180F to ensure they stand up to the hottest climates. Our finish work is featured yearly on cars at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
